That’s right! Military Road is scheduled for expansion and the addition of 3 traffic lights. While this is still in the planning stages, they are scheduled to start work in 2025.

Basically, the expansion Military Road from 2 lanes (one lane in each direction) to 4 lanes (two lanes in each direction). Each lane will be 11′ wide and there will be 3 traffic lights, one on the corners of Tulear, Finnsech and Lear.
A public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 4/25/2024 – 5pm to 7pm at the North Valleys Community Center, 8055 Silver Lake Road, Reno, NV 89506.
